This patch is a MIDI effect that creates a pitch envelope. It can be placed before, after, or instead of a multisynth, and before the sound source. The pitch knob determines the peak difference from the original pitch. For example, if the pitch is set to +120 with a 0 ms attack and 100 ms decay, the sound will start one octave above the original pitch and return to the original pitch within 100 ms. The macro controllers feature a two-stage envelope, but the module is capable of creating an ADSR envelope by adding additional controllers. The module also includes a useful polyphony switch for creating bass riffs.
